Al Saeed Herbs & Spices

Our olive oil and spice products are part of multigenerational practices that have been in the clinic co-owner Said’s family since the 1800s.

The olives in our Extra Virgin Olive Oil are hand-picked from trees in Al-Khalil (Hebron), Palestine, that have been in the family for generations, some of which are as old as 600 years.

Our herbs and spices are from family-run business Al Saeed Herbs and Spices in Palestine. Said’s great-great-grandfather opened the first shop in Jerusalem in the 1830s.

Palestinian Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Olives and olive oil are a big part of Palestinian cuisine and represent a connection to the land and their long and entwined lineage. Palestinian olive oil is renowned for its exceptional quality, with many farmers employing traditional methods and a commitment to sustainable practices. Despite challenges related to occupation, permits, and checkpoints, olive oil remains the main export of Palestine.

This olive oil is simple, single-origin, and extra virgin. Handpicked in Palestine, the olives are pressed at a community olive press, and shipped directly here. Extra virgin olive oil is packed with good fats, high in omega-3’s fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamin E, vitamin K and potassium, beneficial for healthy cholesterol levels, the immune system, and for cardiovascular health.
